The Architectural Control Committee is seeking applications for a third member. This is an unpaid, voluntary position and interested persons should consider the following criteria.
The Committee meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 6pm. Meetings are usually about one hour long depending on the workload. On rare occasions the meeting may extend into a second hour. If there is nothing to review the meeting is cancelled, however, cancellations have been rare. It is understood that not every member can attend every meeting but applicants should consider attendance an essential function.
Applicants should possess, or have a willingness to acquire, a working knowledge of the Seven Coves Deed Restrictions and Construction Packet requirements.
Applicants should be able to review and understand construction documents, blue prints, plat maps, surveys and building specifications. Having a construction or architectural background is a plus.
The ACC works as a team and no member sits in authority over the others. Teamwork is vital and decisions made by the Committee are based on the deed restrictions as well as construction requirements established and approved by the Seven Coves Board of Directors, in whom such authority is granted by the governing documents.
If you have an interest in serving on the ACC please send your contact information and an account of your experience and qualifications to Amy at sevencovesoffice@yahoo.com or drop it off at the office.
